The Trump Administration recently announced that President Donald Trump has decided to end DACA with a six month delay.

DACA, or the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, is a immigration policy set in place by the Obama Administration in 2012. The program allows certain undocumented immigrants who entered the country as minors, to receive a renewable two-year period of deferred action from deportation and eligibility for a work permit. As of June 2016, nearly 750,000 undocumented minors benefited from this program.

1. Know the Facts

The DACA program allows young immigrants the ability to work, study and live free of fear and uncertainty in the country they call home. Knowing the facts about DACA and how it benefits the country’s economy is one of the best ways to help.

4. Write an Op-ed or Letter to the Editor for Your Local Paper
