STATEMENT BY VILLARAIGOSA CAMPAIGN REGARDING PRINTING ERRORS REPORTED AT L.A. COUNTY POLLING PLACES

Los Angeles – Antonio for California Campaign Manager Pat Dennis issued the following statement regarding roster printing errors reported at several Los Angeles County polling places that the County Registrar estimates impacts 1,530 of the 4,357 county precincts.

Said Pat Dennis:

“Registered voters across Los Angeles County have a right to vote and should exercise that right. Polls are open until 8:00 pm to cast your Election Day ballot or drop off your absentee ballot. Voting is going smoothly in a vast majority of locations but if for any reason, your name does not appear on the voter rolls, you should request a provisional ballot and one must be granted to you. It is your right to vote so please insist a provisional ballot is issued to you. Every vote matters.”
